Hermès Opens Its First Nashville Boutique — Where French Luxury Meets Music City Soul

Nashville has officially joined the ranks of cities graced by Hermès, the iconic French luxury house known for timeless craftsmanship and artistry. On October 16, 2025, Hermès opened its first-ever Tennessee boutique, bringing a touch of Parisian elegance to the creative heart of Wedgewood-Houston.

Housed in a beautifully restored red brick building that once served as a hosiery factory, the two-story boutique blends old Nashville character with the brand’s modern sophistication. The original façade remains intact, accented by subtle Hermès signage and classic awnings that complement the building’s industrial charm.

An Immersive Experience in Design and Detail

Inside, the atmosphere feels open, bright, and unmistakably Hermès. Natural light floods the space, highlighting an expansive collection that includes ready-to-wear, leather goods, jewelry, watches, fragrances, home décor, and equestrian pieces.

The first floor welcomes guests with the brand’s signature silks, jewelry, fragrances, and home collections, while the second floor showcases men’s and women’s fashion, footwear, fine jewelry, and a private salon dedicated to timepieces.

True to Hermès’ tradition of honoring its surroundings, the Nashville boutique weaves music and craftsmanship together in subtle and striking ways. From accordion-inspired wood paneling to terrazzo stairs that mimic piano keys, each design detail celebrates the city’s deep musical roots. Even the jewelry area nods to sound, featuring a metallic mesh reminiscent of a harmonica’s texture.

A highlight of the store is a custom electric guitar, handcrafted in Paris from ebony, walnut, and leather—a one-of-a-kind tribute to Nashville’s creative spirit. Music also inspires the limited-edition Arceau watches, designed with an “On Air” motif by French artist Carine Brancowitz.

Celebrating Local Art and Craft

To mark the grand opening, Nashville artist Herb Williams created a whimsical window installation using colorful crayons. His work features a larger-than-life horse sculpture galloping through birch trees crafted from piano keys—a fitting nod to both Hermès’ equestrian heritage and the city’s rhythm and energy.

Why Nashville, and Why Now

Hermès has had its sights set on Nashville for some time, and the Wedgewood-Houston location offered the perfect blend of creativity, community, and culture. The boutique joins a growing list of high-end destinations in the area, alongside Soho House and several notable restaurants and galleries.

Although Hermès recently renovated its Atlanta store, the brand continues to expand in regions where luxury retail is still emerging. The decision to open in Nashville reflects both the city’s growth and its distinct artistic energy.

Luxury with a Nashville Twist

Every Hermès boutique around the world carries all sixteen of the brand’s métiers, or artistic disciplines—but the Nashville store has a few exclusive touches of its own. From the handcrafted Hermès guitar to the music-inspired art and design, this new boutique captures the city’s rhythm in true Hermès fashion: with elegance, craftsmanship, and creativity.

As the doors open to this stunning new destination, one thing is clear—Hermès has found harmony in Music City, where timeless French luxury meets the soul of Nashville.
