Nobu Hotel & Restaurant Coming to Nashville’s East Bank

Big news for Nashville’s skyline and food scene—Nobu Hotel and Restaurant is officially coming to the East Bank. Known around the world for its modern luxury and world-class Japanese dining, the brand is set to make a major splash on the banks of the Cumberland River.

Founded by renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa, alongside Robert De Niro and Meir Teper, Nobu started as a small Los Angeles restaurant in the late 1980s and has since evolved into an international hospitality icon. With more than 50 restaurants and 22 hotels worldwide, Nashville is now joining the list of global destinations to experience Nobu’s signature style—where fine dining meets sophisticated design.

The Nobu Hotel and Restaurant Nashville will rise in the River North District within the East Bank, part of the expansive Oracle campus development. The area, already home to Topgolf, riverfront apartments, and a growing lineup of creative offices and restaurants, is quickly becoming one of the city’s most dynamic neighborhoods.

Designed in partnership with world-renowned architectural firm Foster + Partners, the project promises sleek, Japanese-inspired architecture and serene interiors that balance modern design with natural elements. The hotel will feature 120 rooms and suites, each crafted with Nobu’s signature blend of comfort, style, and detail.

Guests will enjoy a Nobu restaurant on the lobby level, showcasing Chef Nobu’s globally celebrated dishes, along with versatile event spaces perfect for private dinners or larger celebrations. The hotel will also include a lobby café for casual bites and coffee, plus a state-of-the-art fitness center and luxury spa offering a complete wellness retreat.

At the top, an infinity-edge rooftop pool will serve as the crown jewel—offering sweeping views of the Nashville skyline and the surrounding countryside. With curated food and beverage service, it’s set to become one of the city’s most exclusive rooftop destinations.

Once complete, Nobu Nashville will stand as a landmark addition to the East Bank’s evolving waterfront, joining other high-end developments such as the Pendry, Nashville EDITION, and St. Regis.

More than just a hotel, Nobu’s arrival marks another step in Nashville’s transformation into a true international destination—one where culture, design, and culinary excellence come together on the banks of the Cumberland.
